IT Administrator
About The Role
The IT Administrator is responsible for Asset Management and IT administration tasks under the overall direction of IT Service Deliver Manager.
The successful candidate will be required to work with resource from across the IT Department, utilising the skills of various team members to achieve the necessary project outcomes.
Reports to IT Service Delivery Manager.
This full-time role will initially be office-based to allow for training and onboarding. Upon the successful passing of probation, a hybrid working pattern will follow, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Main Responsibilities
- Working with senior IT Management, negotiating with stakeholders to manage deadlines and expectations.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team.
- Keeping senior IT Management and others informed about project status and issues that may impact user relations.
- Building and maintaining working relationships with team members, vendors and any other departments involved in the project.
- Working with upper management in defining goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Ownership of the Starters and Leavers process, ensuring all relevant accounts and IT equipment is in place for new joiners and administrating leavers’ returned equipment and account closing.
- Managing the ordering process for IT equipment, peripherals, software, and licensing for the business globally.
- Achieving a good overview of available assets with communication from the assigned deployment role.
- Co-ordinating and managing faulty/damaged assets that need to be sent offsite for repair.
- Developing and maintaining vendor relations.
- Managing the entire purchase of inventory related to hardware, software, and other IT supplies.
- Liaising with local suppliers, enabling access to IT supplies as and when required, and maintaining local office IT infrastructure.

- Following processes to ensure that a high quality of service is provided to both internal and external customers.

- Prince2, Agile Project Management qualifications, and/or ITIL qualifications desirable.
