Senior Account Manager – Account Director (Social Media)
We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated and versatile Senior Account Manager/Account Director (Social Media) with strong creative production experience to drive forward our work with one of the world’s leading sports and running brands.
A passion for running and running club/community culture is highly desirable. Social and Digital media experience is essential, PR experience is desirable.
Location: based in our Golden Square office, 3 days a week in the office.
The Role
The Senior Account Manager/Account Director is responsible for driving the account forward through efficient and effective management of overall workload, the team and its output.
Acting as the central component in the team – who is always two steps ahead – you will ensure not only the smooth operational running of the account, but that all strategic and creative output is completed on time and to a very high standard.
You will possess excellent account and project management skills/experience, a strategic mind and a keen eye for creative. Experience producing stills/video shoots, content output, and events/activations is a must. You will also display strong team management skills across ADs and AEs.
Core responsibilities:
- Day-to-day communication with the client on project and account management topics, keeping them abreast of important updates, workflow and output.
- Manage the everyday running of the account, coordinating internal check-ins and check-ins with the client.
- Lead all account operations, onboarding new team members, updating internal and external processes to drive efficiencies, identifying ways to streamline ways of working etc.
- Generate and present strategic and creative powerpoint presentations to the client, across a range of different briefs and sell ideas that we believe in to the clients.
- Manage, co-ordinate and attend brand campaign productions and output, working with production houses, videographers and photographers to create content for the clients social media channels, as well as managing production budgets.
- Work with the strategy team to build and deliver partner/influencer activations, management and reporting with support from the social media executive.
- Oversee the coordination of global markets, working with the wider team to help build and circulate toolkits.
- Facilitate with support from the wider team virtual market summits.
- Partner/media/ influencer outreach, contracting, management and reporting.
- Be the key point of contact for managing the adidas runners’ network, giving support across all team touchpoints to ensure collaboration and effectiveness.
- Help coordinate all key stakeholders internal and external with regards to the monthly content calendar, reporting and insights.
- Collaborate with moderators of community platforms to ensure alignment across markets (leaders/coaches on Discord/Reddit etc.)
- Manage client budgets, effectively forecasting, tracking and reporting project finance.
- Oversee tracking and reporting with the Strategists.
- Plan, manage and attend experiential events (on occasion).
- Work closely with our partner agency (responsible for operations) in a collaborative and respectful manner.
- Manage and nurture the SAE/AE/AMs and manage upwards to the SAD/Director.

- Strong document writing and presentation skills.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing throughout internal and client facing comms.

- Demonstrate understanding of social media platforms and the digital landscape.
- Develop an understanding of emerging technology and its potential use in marketing.
- Understanding of the PR landscape is desirable
