Job Description – Power Platform Developer

Job Location - Delhi, India

We are seeking a skilled and proactive site-based Power Platform Developer to join our team and help us harness the full potential of the Microsoft Power Platform to drive business efficiency, customer experience and success. You will be working in our specialist hub and collaborating closely on projects and service improvements across our global IT team. You will be expected to take the lead in dealing with the Microsoft power platform including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams and ensure that you escalate when appropriate to senior management. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills that can work with a wider global team. The role will be primarily based on site.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide Development, SharePoint and overall Office 365 expertise and standards in the support of M&C Saatchi’s business functions and associated projects. with key responsibilities that include:

• Lead technical developer and responsible for day-to-day support of the existing
• Office 365 platforms.
• Lead developer for all IT systems integration and workflows.
• Work with third-parties and confidently steer technical decision-making to provide maintainable solutions to the business.
• Provide user training and relevant documentation to both technical and non-technical staff.
• Gather user requirements and translate these into technical solutions using SharePoint best practices.
• Advocate standardisation and governance across the business using standard functionality where possible.
• Proactively research upcoming technologies for continuous improvement and introduce automation of manual processes where opportunities arise.
• Be security aware at all times in your decision-making.
• Produce detailed specifications and program codes.

You’ll bring with you (experience and qualifications):

• Minimum 5yrs of experience as a Developer
• Diploma or Graduation in Computers
• Must have - ITILv4 Certificate
• Good to have - Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• You must have a strong, hands on understanding of developing within the Power platform and Microsoft Teams apps
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx) using React and Azure Web Apps
• Microsoft Flow, PowerApps and Power BI or PowerQuery
• Excel Visual Basic, for use in advanced Macros
• SharePoint Online Site Provisioning Services, as part of the roll-out of standardisation
• The ability to work with these technologies and best practices would also be advantageous:
  • IIS
  • FreshService
  • Active Directory
  • Migration and administrator tools such as ShareGate and SPDocKit
  • That you are experienced in ITIL practices

SHIFT TIMINGS

Primarily EMEA shift (02:00PM to 11:00PM IST) with potential support needed during APAC hours. Flexibility to work as per business requirement.
