The Opportunity:

We’re on the lookout for a talented Senior Platform Engineer to join our Sydney office. In this key role, you’ll design and implement IT systems to support enterprise infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and driving technological advancement.

As part of the Global Platform Team, you’ll report to the Platform Lead, collaborating across regions to deliver seamless infrastructure solutions.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

• Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across local and remote environments, including servers, networks, and video conferencing systems.
• Conduct system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure peak performance.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point for global support teams.
• Create and manage detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures.
• Test and maintain local disaster recovery plans as part of the wider business continuity strategy.
• Resolve infrastructure-related incidents swiftly to minimize business disruption.
• Collaborate with the Global IT team to drive service improvements.
• Engage with business teams to identify challenges and proactively deliver IT solutions.
• Mentor IT support staff, fostering professional growth.
• Automate processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Your idea experience:

• 8+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure support and administration.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows OS, Active Directory, and Disaster Recovery.
• Proficiency with Identity and Access Management platforms (e.g., Entra ID, Okta).
• Solid knowledge of server technologies, enterprise storage, and networking protocols.
• Experience managing public cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management platforms (e.g., Intune, Mosyle, JAMF).
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Bonus: Exposure to Linux OS, Desktop as a Service (e.g., Citrix, AVD), and automation tools like PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
