Account Supervisor
The Account Supervisor serves as a day-to-day business lead for our clients and the quarterback for the agency. Work independently on projects big and small to exceed both client expectations and agency goals. Proactively seek out opportunities to better serve our clients and the organization at large. Provide coaching to junior account talent and support to senior account leadership.
What you'll do:
- Strive to become an expert in your clients’ business and in our own, developing a deep understanding of their issues and concerns, relevant categories and emerging media.
- Set a positive tone and lead with a sense of calm, optimism, and control to inspire confidence and trust. You ask questions when you need to. You build relationships with your strategy and creative partners.
- Invest in building strong relationships with your clients and other agency partners.
- You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills, the ability to craft a clear and persuasive argument and build a presentation
- You are an equally great listener, able to hear what is unsaid as well, with the ability to turn information into action
- You take pride in knowing how to make things happen, defining and managing a clear work plan/schedule, stewarding budgets and specs.
- You anticipate challenges and trouble spots and know when to bring in partners or colleagues to help troubleshoot.
- You are ambitious—for yourself, our clients, the agency and our work. You believe that what we do is important, meaningful, and wherever possible, fun.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
- 5+ years in an agency environment preferred; at least 1 year with supervisory experience
- Robust experience with the integrated campaigns, from strategic development through creative development, production and trafficking. Demonstrated ability to outline and manage the process for internal and client teams and orchestrating reviews, feedback and response.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and an excellent presenter
- Solid strategic and analytical skills, including the ability to define a business problem and the role of creativity and communications in solving it and evaluating campaign success
- Production experience across all platforms - film, digital, social, and printed
- Familiarity partnering with media agencies for the planning and buying process
- Organized and detail-oriented; finds satisfaction in a buttoned up and well-run operation
- A self-starting multi-tasker that can handle the pressure of several assignments at once and take initiative for identifying how to accomplish new tasks
- Curious, resourceful and inquisitive
- A positive outlook and strong people skills; an exceptional team builder, leader and colleague
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, Google Apps and Slack
- Travel may be required
