Analysis Manager
We are currently looking for an Analysis Manager to join one of the group’s specialist divisions. World Services partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, we work on the critical issues of our time, including national security, social justice and conflict prevention. We provide a fully integrated, end to end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts, across the world. Our work is domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards developing countries, and fragile, conflict affected states.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a working knowledge of, or a Degree in International Relations, Political Science, other related humanities, or social science. This role is based out of our Washington DC office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for regularly produced media monitoring and social listening reports, ensuring editorial consistency; ensuring high quality output; and ensuring the general smooth delivery of these client-facing deliverables. Reports should include news of note, headlines, and thematic trends.
- Expert use of monitoring tools, including Talkwalker and Brandwatch, to gather open-source research, pulling out findings from these sources, provide analysis and prepare reports. Must be proficient in manipulating platforms with sophisticated Boolean searches.
- Develop analytical performance reports of social media channel performance, including Facebook, X and YouTube. Proficiency in Google Analytics.
- Develop ad-hoc RFIs on breaking news or stories of interest.
· Brief wider project team on analytical findings, trends and breaking news to inform strategic development of communications strategy. - Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary, cross-agency team to deliver measurable effects.
About You:
Essential:
- 5 years demonstrated strategic/tactical/media communication level experience within the last 10 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Proven experience using monitoring tools such as TalkWalker, BrandWatch and NewsWhip.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills (English).
- A strong work ethic with ability to stick to deadlines is essential.
- Must be able to legally work in the US.
- Must be able and willing to work on site in DC 5 days a week.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours, with weekend work and report delivery expected.
Desirable:
- Experience with evaluating behavioral change and brand performance would be an advantage.
- Experience working on government contracts.
- Data visualization skills and experience using data visualization software such as tableau would be a bonus.

What we offer:
M&CS offers a competitive benefits package including: 25 vacation days, 401k match, annual pay reviews, flexible working, and WFH opportunities. Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from: $75,000-$95,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
