Payroll Lead
M+C Saatchi Group are looking for a Payroll Lead to be part of our People Operations team. The role will report into our Global Head of People Operations and will be responsible for the outsourced payroll for M+C Saatchi entities based in the UK and US.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently outsourcing to ADP on a managed service model and are looking for someone to work closely with ADP and the business to ensure that all payroll data is processed accurately and on time.
The role is a hybrid role with expectation of being in the London office 1-2 days a week.
What you'll do:
- Collate data from HRIS (Workday), validate and provide to ADP
- Collate variable data and documentation that is not held in Workday, validate and provide to ADP
- Reconcile output and work with Finance for approval to pay
- Manage any legislative changes with ADP
- Manage any pay policy changes with ADP
- Management of the vendor contract and service quality/delivery
- Manage queries and be a point of escalation
- Reconcile HMRC Gateway to payments/systems
- Collation of data and submission to ADP for P11Ds, submission of P11D(b) on gateway and arrange Class 1A payment
- Administer 3rd party submissions and payments in UK and US (Pensions/Benefits)
- PSA and general payroll reporting
- Work with external auditors and provide data as requested
- Partner with the People Operations team to advise and educate on payroll related matters
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in all aspects of payroll
- Be an advisor and sounding board for benefits or payroll based scheme’s that the business would like to explore
- Be a key member of the pension governance committee in the UK, and liaising with pension providers and brokers on any changes agreed
- Ensure controls are in place – responsible for payroll compliance and governance
ABOUT YOU
A team player with good communication skills at all levels, but able to work on their own and be proactive and take initiative based on experience and knowledge.
You’re good at:
- Organisation and methodical working
- Microsoft Office
- Communication – written and oral
You’ll bring with you (experience and qualifications):
- Qualified in Payroll (CIPP or equivalent)
- Experience in managing a payroll vendor in outsourced capacity
- Experience of UK and US payrolls
