Client Solution Manager
Fluency (part of the M+C Saatchi Group) is looking for a Client Solutions Manager to lead global client projects, build senior client relationships, and transform data into compelling stories. If you’re passionate about insights, strategy, storytelling and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role:
As the Client Solutions Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing strategic relationships, overseeing project delivery, and driving business growth across your portfolio. You’ll act as the key point of contact for clients, collaborating closely with our consulting and data science teams to deliver innovative, AI-powered insights. This role combines client leadership, commercial accountability, and storytelling with data, across industries from e-commerce to pharmaceuticals.
What you’ll do:
- Own client accounts - take overall accountability for delivery, outputs, and commercial performance within your portfolio, proactively managing contracts, SOWs, and scopes of work.
- Build deep client relationships - maintain trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders, offering strategic counsel, clarity around expectations, and solutions to complex challenges.
- Drive high-quality delivery - lead account teams, allocate resources, and ensure deadlines are consistently met while interrogating outputs to guarantee excellence in storytelling and insight.
- Champion pitches and growth - play a leading role in pitches, whether leading directly or acting as a “pitch doctor,” and identify organic opportunities to broaden relationships and revenue.
- Guide strategic outputs - work with colleagues to shape decks, reports, and campaigns that turn diverse data sources (search, social, forums, news, blogs, etc.) into compelling stories using advanced AI-driven analysis.
- Mentor and develop others - support and challenge junior consultants, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development to raise the floor and ceiling of delivery quality.
- Collaborate across teams - partner with strategy leads, consulting, and data science colleagues to create innovative, first-class solutions that answer client briefs and unlock new value.
- Stay market-aware - keep a close eye on industry trends, interrogate briefs, and bring fresh, proactive thinking to both clients and internal teams.
What you'll bring:
- Strong experience in consulting, insights, market research, or a related environment (agency or client-side).
- Proven success in leading senior client relationships and delivering complex projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing contracts, SOWs, and business targets.
- Skilled in producing cohesive, data-backed insight reports and presentations.
- Comfortable with research tools such as Brandwatch, GWI, YouGov Profiles, Mintel, or SimilarWeb.
- A clear communicator, collaborator, and team leader, with strong mentoring skills.
- Curious, resilient, and passionate about how data drives brand success.
- (Bonus) Experience with analysis/visualisation tools (Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SPSS) or additional languages.
How you’ll excel:
- Excellent communicators and confident presenters.
- Natural collaborators who build rapport quickly and inspire trust.
- Commercial thinkers who balance profitability with outstanding client service.
- Entrepreneurial and hungry for growth.
- Trusted advisors with a strong POV on how data can transform client businesses.
- Leaders who motivate others and raise the quality of work across teams.
- Resilient under pressure, staying calm, positive, and solutions-focused.
- Comfortable sharing credit, shouldering challenges, and having honest conversations.
This role has a start date of January 2026.
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
For the right candidate, we will offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes 27 days annual holiday, private healthcare, employer contributory pension, life assurance and income protection. We also offer a host of benefits that support wellbeing including subsidised gym membership, whilst our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion sees us offer learning opportunities around D&I, mentoring programmes and the opportunity for all to participate in a number of active Employee Led Networks and associated events.
