Director
M+C Saatchi TALK is looking for a Director to lead our global division. As a senior leader, you act as a figurehead and champion of our global services. A commercially focused leader who excels at client handling, you build and lead a profitable portfolio of clients and foster a team of next-generation talent who love what they do, delivering best-in-class work that makes the agency proud.
Working in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and other agencies within the M+C Saatchi Group, you are a lead player in driving forward and growing our global work, unlocking opportunities with existing clients and winning new business.
Passionate about PR with earned and social-first capabilities, you bring industry insights, market knowledge, and your own ideas into the agency shaping the work we do and the global division we build. You spot opportunities for growth and develop new products to capitalise on them.
You must have proven experience in the beauty and drinks industries, along with a strong track record of managing global accounts. These are essential to leading the division with confidence and credibility.
You play an active role in the day-to-day management of the business, ensuring individuals are coached and supported to reach their full potential, account teams are set up for success, and clients are serviced to a high standard. What you'll do:
Respect the Work
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, delivering brave, impactful work that earns attention.
- Lead a profitable portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on the beauty and drinks industries.
- Champion earned and social-first thinking across the division.
- Collaborate with other agencies in the M+C Saatchi Group to drive integrated thinking and shared opportunities.
- Lead new business pitches and develop strategic networking programs.
- Stay connected to media and culture, bringing fresh insights and contacts into the agency.
Respect the Money
- Create and deliver commercial strategies for your client portfolio.
- Set and achieve new business targets in partnership with the Commercial FD.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Drive profitability through effective pricing, team management, and cost control.
- Ensure financial processes are embedded across the division.
Respect Each Other
- Lead and coach a team of Senior Account Directors and their reports.
- Develop career plans for your team and provide consistent on-the-job coaching.
- Organize training and development initiatives across the division.
- Collaborate with the Head of Talent on future hires and team growth.
- Champion a positive agency culture and strong internal communication.
What you'll bring:
- Proven leadership experience in PR or communications, ideally within an agency setting.
- Extensive experience in the beauty and drinks industries is essential.
- Strong track record managing global accounts or international campaigns.
- Commercially astute with experience managing profitable client portfolios.
- Skilled in strategic client handling, new business development, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of earned media and social-first campaigns.
- Excellent financial management and negotiation skills.
- Inspirational leader with a collaborative mindset and coaching approach.
- Well-connected to media and cultural trends.
