Senior Account Manager

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Sydney or Melbourne team. This role draws on broad generalist experience to strengthen the strategic capability and business performance of the Client Services team. It involves leading a team that delivers mutual success for both Re and its clients.
Responsibility includes maintaining the overall quality of client relationships and meeting revenue targets. A strong understanding of brands and the branding process helps identify and solve key client challenges.
The role also focuses on uncovering and securing new business opportunities within existing accounts, while contributing to new business development more broadly.
A snapshot of what you'll do
- Gains a deep understanding of their Client’s business and shares knowledge with more junior colleagues.
- Leads the team to deliver quarterly competitive reviews built on insight and category knowledge.
- Makes recommendations to clients on a regular basis based on competitive/ category insight.
- Builds and nurtures positive working relationships with the wider M+C Saatchi agency team by actively listening and seeking guidance.
- Act as mentor to Account Managers & Account Executives, setting a positive example for team behaviour, learning and collaboration.
- Contribute to strategic briefing, development, discussion. Helping to write inspiring creative briefs.
- Organises project resource, ensure tasks are completed within scope and timings and budget.

Your ideal experience
- Previous experience working in Account Manager or Senior Account Manager roles (Account Management or Project Management roles within a Creative or Comms Agency environment)
- Experience in a multi disciplinary team environment
- Proven experience managing integrated campaigns and communications projects
- Knowledge of Advertising: TV, radio, print production, sponsorships & other emerging media including digital; web, email, mobile
