About the Role
As part of our continued improvement plan for Information Services, we are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and pragmatic IT Software Asset Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of IT Software Assets from procurement, deployment, maintenance through to disposal or cease of contract.
This role includes management of software licensing, compliance, vendor agreements and developing ITAM policies. The IT teams are focused on providing the best customer service for our users. Working as part of this highly motivated team, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality services in line with SLAs, contractual agreements and best practice.
Reporting to the Global IT Service Delivery Director.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT software assets.
Ensure vendor contracts are agreed and signed within allotted timeframes, once approved.
Maintain Software Asset Database within ITSM tool (FreshService).
Evaluate IT Service Portfolio to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with IT Security to conduct and provide findings of software/vendor audits to comply with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and more.
Create and agree ITAM policies to align with business requirements.
Take ownership of IT support tickets relating to software assets, managing licensing/reporting within assigned budget.
Take ownership of software asset-related communication within the business, understanding requirements for IT services and software, translating requirements into tangible and valuable outcomes for stakeholders.
Oversee management of IT vendor and third-party providers for M+C Saatchi Group, ensuring all contractual obligations are agreed, approved, implemented and tested across relevant business units.
Oversee upskilling of all IT staff in relation to IT SAM.
About You
Effective customer service skills: Providing exceptional customer service by translating requirements into valued recommendations and tangible outcomes relating to the IT asset lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities: Analysing contractual data, reports (license usage, capacity, costs and budget) and implementing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills: Expressing technical concepts clearly and concisely to users with varying levels of technical understanding, both verbally and in written form.
Adaptability and flexibility: Adapting to changing priorities, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and quickly adjusting to new technologies, contractual agreements and processes.
Technical proficiency: Demonstrating a solid understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks to fully appreciate the value-add of new services or the removal of existing services within your remit.
5 days in the office. Shift patterns working between Monday – Friday. 8:00am – 4:30pm 8:30am – 5:00pm 9:30am – 06:30pm
