Senior Analyst (Europe)
We are looking for an Analyst specialising in politics, media landscapes, and information environments across the Europe region to play a key role in producing the insight that underpins our strategic communications work. As a Senior Analyst, you will monitor political dynamics, track evolving narratives, and analyse social, cultural, and informational trends.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working closely with project leads, strategists, and regional specialists, you will support the design and interpretation of both quantitative and qualitative research, helping to shape the narratives and approaches used across our campaigns. You will contribute timely analysis, written briefs, verbal updates, and strategic insight to colleagues across the agency, ensuring our work is grounded in real‑world trends and evidence.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytically minded, and passionate about political and social dynamics. You will become an in‑house expert on the European region’s information landscape, providing essential context and guidance that informs decision‑making at multiple levels.
Key responsibilities are to:
Monitor and analyse political trends, media, and information environments, acting as an in-house source on the Europe region’s politics, culture, and information space.
Assist with the development, administration, and interpretation of both quantitative (i.e., surveys) and qualitative (i.e., focus group discussions and interviews) research.
Fuse primary field research (quantitative and qualitative), social media findings, and open-source research to produce actionable insight pieces supporting the company’s communications campaigns.
Produce timely, relevant analyses, briefings, and strategic recommendations verbally and in writing for different teams and levels within the agency.
Provide insight to support the development of communications strategies and responding to ad hoc research requests.
Develop an understanding of regional strategy and project objectives, informing and guiding them.
Provide support to other project/regional/thematic-assigned analysts, as required.
Conduct desk-based research.
Participate in the culture of the wider team and agency (for example, contributing to team meetings).
ABOUT YOU
What you bring (knowledge, expertise, experience, and skills):
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Politics, International Relations, Sociology, Area Studies, Journalism).
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex political and social information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
Confident presenting research insights and translating technical or data‑heavy concepts for non‑technical audiences.
Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience using monitoring or social‑listening tools is preferred.
Interest in (or previous experience working on) issues related to Central and/or Eastern Europe is an advantage.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of one or more Central or Eastern European languages (e.g., Russian, Georgian, Serbo‑Croat, Romanian) is an advantage.
Applications close: Sunday, 8th March 2026. No Recruiters.
