Global Marketing & Activations Manager
As the Global Marketing & Activations Manager, you will take the lead on key global marketing, communications, and activations activity during the maternity leave period, ensuring continuity across flagship events, owned channels, editorial partnerships, and internal communications. Working closely with the Head of Global Marketing, the role will support the delivery of the global communications plan and act as a central point of coordination for regional and specialist marketing and growth teams, with responsibility for the day‑to‑day line management of marketing executives supporting delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands on role as part of the global marketing and growth team. This individual will work with the Global Head of Marketing to drive awareness of the M&C Saatchi brand around the world, working with our agency teams, consultants, and aligned media and PR partners.
What You'll Do
Global Activations & Events
Lead the planning and delivery of flagship events (Cannes, SXSW, CES), overseeing timelines, stakeholders, content, and on‑the‑ground execution
Lead on internal events and roll‑outs, ensuring consistent messaging and smooth delivery
Coordinate with internal teams, external partners to ensure events align with broader group strategy and brand objectives
Global Communications & Content Planning
Support the Head of Global Marketing in the production and delivery of the overall global communications plan, including development and management of the content calendar
Ensure key moments, announcements, and campaigns are clearly planned, prioritised, and delivered on time across channels, overseeing execution by marketing executives where appropriate
Assist with preparation of materials for senior stakeholders, where required
PR, Editorial & Partnerships
Support PR activity by sharing communications and updates with key media and editorial partners
Help maintain and develop global editorial partnerships, identifying opportunities for coverage, features, and collaborations
Coordinate inputs, approvals, and delivery of partner content to agreed timelines
Owned Channels & Digital Presence
Manage the owned channel strategy and communications, including the global website, LinkedIn, and Instagram
Oversee content uploads, scheduling, and publishing across platforms, providing clear direction and quality control across executional support
Track performance and provide regular reporting and insight to inform content optimisation and future planning
Thought Leadership
Support the Head of Global Marketing on the group thought leadership programme, including coordination of content development, launches, and amplification
Help ensure thought leadership activity aligns with strategic priorities and key cultural or industry moments
Newsletters & Internal Communications
Create and distribute the “5 Things” newsletter to the global intermediary community on a regular cadence
Deliver internal updates via Huddle and contribute to the monthly all‑staff newsletter, ensuring clarity, consistency, and relevance
Support internal roll‑outs by aligning messaging across channels and overseeing delivery support from marketing executives
Stakeholder & Network Coordination
Support coordination of monthly SLT, Network Member and Growth Council meetings, including agendas, comms, and follow‑ups where required
Act as the daily point of contact for regional and specialist growth and marketing leads, helping to unblock issues and ensure alignment
Line‑manage marketing executives, setting priorities, overseeing workload, and supporting delivery across global initiatives
New Business Support
Provide marketing and communications support on new business pitches where required
ABOUT YOU
What You'll Bring
Significant experience in an agency or client side marketing role
Experience of managing local and/or global teams
A creative self starter with proven experience in driving PR and social led campaigns
Integrated marketing expertise in launching products and messaging across integrated platforms
Expertise in internal communications
Adept at liaising with all levels of global agency / clients / partners
Proven experience in running in-house events to support the growth of the agency.
