M&C Saatchi World Services US is seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Analyst. This role conducts research, monitoring, and analysis in support of communications, outreach, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, transforming complex information into actionable insights that inform strategy, strengthen decision-making, and support mission objectives across diverse audiences and operating environments.
THE ROLE
M&C Saatchi World Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded Analyst to support performance measurement, audience insights, and data-driven decision-making across a diverse portfolio of federal programs.
Working closely with communications, stakeholder engagement, digital, UX, and program teams, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that help optimize performance, improve audience engagement, and strengthen mission outcomes. You will play a key role in analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, developing dashboards, and delivering reporting that supports strategic planning and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful narratives. They are comfortable working with structured datasets, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and providing insights that drive measurable improvements across communications, outreach, and engagement activities.
This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze performance data across communications, outreach, stakeholder engagement, digital platforms, and program activities.
• Perform data analytics on quantitative and qualitative datasets, to include visualizing key findings in charts or graphics.
• Define, track, and evaluate key performance indicators, audience segments, and operational metrics that support organizational objectives.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and performance summaries that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Conduct trend analysis, variance identification, forecasting, and performance assessments to support planning and continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyze digital channel performance, including web, email, social media, audience engagement, and campaign metrics.
• Analyze social media performance across owned and paid channels, evaluating audience growth, engagement, sentiment, content performance, platform trends, and campaign effectiveness to generate actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
• Perform open source and desk research in order to obtain audience insights, market analytics, and to identify research gaps.
• Support the creation and implementation of formative research plans to understand target audiences.
• Support the creation and implementation of evaluation strategies and activities.
• Identify patterns, opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization across programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with communications, UX, stakeholder engagement, IT, and governance teams to align measurement approaches with business and mission needs.
• Support the development and refinement of KPI frameworks, taxonomies, reporting methodologies, and data models.
• Maintain data quality standards, metadata integrity, documentation, and reporting consistency across analytics activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting products, executive summaries, and performance insights.
• Support automation and streamlining of reporting workflows where appropriate.
• Translate quantitative findings into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making and program effectiveness.
Key Attributes
• Experience working in primary research, data analytics, business intelligence, performance measurement, marketing analytics, research, or related analytical disciplines.
• Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning abilities with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, visualizations, and performance summaries for stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted research, media monitoring, social listening, and audience intelligence tools to support analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Curiosity in technology landscape and how AI is changing communications.
• Proficiency with analytics and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of KPI development, segmentation analysis, measurement frameworks, and performance reporting.
• Experience working with structured datasets, reporting systems, and data visualization methodologies.
• Familiarity with SPSS, SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools is preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and translate data into compelling narratives and recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Experience collaborating across communications, stakeholder engagement, digital, UX, technical, and program teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience supporting federal government, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, digital communications, or mission-driven programs is preferred.
• Location: Hybrid, able to commute regularly to the Washington DC office space.
• Language Requirements: Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Educational Requirements: BA/BS in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field preferred.
Eligibility Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (required by government contract).
• Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
• Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated compensation for this role across our Washington, DC and New York locations. Actual starting salary will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
