THE ROLE
M&C Saatchi World Services is seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Analysis Manager to support audience intelligence, reputation monitoring, and brand performance measurement across a diverse portfolio of federal programs.
Working at the intersection of communications, stakeholder engagement, behavioral insights, and analytics, you will evaluate how audiences perceive organizational brands, messaging, and engagement efforts across multiple channels and stakeholder groups. Through sentiment analysis, audience research, social listening, and perception tracking, you will help identify emerging risks, opportunities, and trends that inform strategic communications and engagement decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent research, writing, and storytelling skills. They are comfortable synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, identifying meaningful patterns in audience behavior, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that strengthen trust, credibility, and engagement outcomes.
This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze brand perception, audience trust, credibility, and sentiment across communications channels (including social listening), stakeholder groups, and engagement activities.
Conduct sentiment analysis, perception research, and audience intelligence assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
Evaluate the effectiveness of messaging strategies and assess alignment between intended communications objectives and audience perceptions.
Track narrative shifts, reputation indicators, stakeholder concerns, and engagement patterns across digital, social, media, and stakeholder environments.
Develop reports, briefings, dashboards, and executive summaries that communicate sentiment insights and brand performance clearly and effectively.
Identify emerging issues, misinformation risks, reputation challenges, and audience concerns that may impact organizational objectives.
Collaborate with communications, stakeholder engagement, outreach, analytics, and strategy teams to integrate audience insights into planning and decision-making processes.
Support the development of brand health measurement frameworks, sentiment tracking methodologies, and audience intelligence programs.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify drivers of trust, engagement, credibility, and audience behavior.
Maintain sentiment tracking systems, monitoring methodologies, reporting standards, and documentation processes.
Provide actionable recommendations that strengthen messaging effectiveness, audience engagement, and overall brand reputation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sentiment analysis approaches, stakeholder intelligence frameworks, and reporting capabilities.
Line management of an analyst, ensuring their professional development and well-being.
Task/project management of your direct reports and other collaborators, ensuring duties are divided according to priority and skillset and executed to high standards, including review and quality assurance of team outputs.
Key Attributes
Experience conducting brand analysis, sentiment analysis, audience research, communications measurement, stakeholder intelligence, or reputation assessment activities.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify meaningful trends, risks, opportunities, and audience insights.
Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Experience utilizing AI-assisted research, media monitoring, social listening, and audience intelligence tools to support analysis and strategic recommendations.
Familiarity with APIs and programming language such as Python to enable data collection, analysis and presentation would be highly desirable.
Curiosity in technology landscape and how AI is changing communications.
Excellent writing, editing, briefing, and presentation skills. • Strong understanding of audience behavior, brand perception, stakeholder engagement, and communications effectiveness measurement.
Experience developing reports, dashboards, executive summaries, stakeholder intelligence products, or analytical briefings.
Ability to translate complex information into concise and compelling narratives for stakeholders and decision-makers.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency, and methodological rigor.
Experience collaborating across communications, stakeholder engagement, strategy, research, analytics, and program teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and reporting cycles.
Experience supporting federal government, public affairs, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, or mission-driven programs is preferred.
Familiarity with brand health measurement, audience segmentation, behavioral analysis, communications analytics, or reputation management practices is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, as required by the position.
Degree or relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, Behavioral Science, Sociology, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Analytics, Research, or a related field preferred.
Eligibility Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (required by government contract).
• Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
• Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.
The salary range provided reflects the anticipated compensation for this role across our Washington, DC and New York locations. Actual starting salary will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
