The Opportunity
As Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the team to deliver best-in-class paid social thinking and delivery for one of Australia’s biggest brands. Working closely with the Senior Social Director, you’ll write social creative briefs and support campaign implementation, provide social consultation, and analyse campaign performance to derive actionable learnings back to the team and manage senior stakeholders.
The is an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
A Snapshot Of What You'll Do
- Deliver paid social campaigns with the support of the wider social and account management: from briefing to execution
- Support paid social concepting with the social creative team
- Perform social audits, including social listening and competitor evaluations. Identifying micro and macro cultural trends and opportunities
- Review campaign performance to deliver actionable learnings back to the creative and wider teams
- Manage client relationships with the support of the wider social and account teams
- Support senior social team in producing paid social strategies across Woolworths
- Share the latest social news in weekly/monthly agency forums
- Plus much more!
Your Ideal Experience
- Live and breathe all things social, with a passion for great social content locally and globally
- 2-3 years of social media management experience, managing social campaigns for B2C household name brand/s (food/retail industry experience advantageous)
- Sound understanding of paid social creative best practice principles through the funnel - including formats across key platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) to create impactful paid social campaigns
- Proficient in interpreting paid & organic social campaign results against social KPIs
- Building strong stakeholder relationships - across cross-agency (creative and media) teams and clients
- Social content ideation, including working autonomously or with creatives
- Confidence in balancing multiple projects, sometimes at pace in a retail environment
- Use of social tools for social listening and analytics advantageous (Meltwater, Brandwatch etc)
- Sound understanding of the creator space in Australia (+ New Zealand advantageous)
