M&C Saatchi World Services US is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to support the delivery of strategic communications and social change campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects.
THE ROLE
Working closely with Account Supervisors, strategists, creatives, and production teams, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day project delivery, client relationships, and campaign execution. You will support all aspects of communications programs, ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.
This role is ideal for a communications professional with experience managing complex projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of impactful campaigns. The successful candidate will combine strong organizational skills with strategic curiosity, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will help shape project outputs, contribute to campaign strategy, manage production processes, and serve as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the successful delivery of communications campaigns and client projects from planning through execution.
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, timelines, budgets, approvals, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
Support the development of presentations, client materials, reports, and campaign deliverables.
Manage production processes, quality control reviews, and project workflows while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Review, interpret, and communicate client feedback to internal teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives.
Track estimates, budgets, invoicing processes, and project reconciliations to support effective financial management.
Present work and project updates to clients in a clear, confident, and professional manner. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and production teams to ensure all work aligns with campaign objectives and audience needs.
Support strategic planning efforts by incorporating research insights, campaign evaluations, and sector developments into project discussions.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across the agency.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members while fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development initiatives as opportunities arise. • Escalate project risks, challenges, and issues appropriately while helping identify practical solutions.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for project-related questions, ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
Eligibility Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (required by government contract).
• Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
• Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.
The salary range provided reflects the anticipated compensation for this role across our Washington, DC and New York locations. Actual starting salary will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
Key Attributes:
Experience in communications, account management, marketing, public affairs, or a related field.
Degree or relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Politics, History, or a related field preferred.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Experience in leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency.
Curiosity in technology landscape and how AI is changing communications.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality communications products and campaigns.
Strong understanding of client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, approvals, and production processes with attention to detail.
Interest in social impact communications, public affairs, international affairs, geopolitics, or behavior change initiatives.
Ability to think strategically and contribute meaningfully to campaign planning and execution.
Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and client organizations.
Practical understanding of business operations and project delivery processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to travel internationally and work independently when required.
Must possess, be eligible to obtain, and be willing to maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
