Account Manager
M&C Saatchi Performance are looking for a Paid Media Account Manager in Planning. We are looking for a skilled multitasker with a knack for fostering growth and managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with our Account Director across various accounts, bringing your expertise and enthusiasm to the role.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a related field, curiosity, and a passion for digital innovation, advertising, and technology. Your keen eye for detail and ability to guide and mentor junior team members will be invaluable in this role.
What you'll do:
Supporting the Account Director in Planning across an array of tasks.
- Own the client relationship and be the main daily point of contact, working to ensure client satisfaction and assist with account growth and retention.
- Work closely with the wider team (Search and Social, Programmatic, Data, Creative, etc.) and clients to help form overall strategy and planning of campaigns.
- Own and lead on all day-to-day planning tasks on the account(s), including:
- Working closely with senior members of the team to manage and execute a media plan to achieve client’s performance marketing goals.
- Lead weekly and monthly reporting on across the accounts KPIs.
- Analysing data to make informed campaign performance decisions.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of all channels and capabilities.
- Planning relationships with internal and external teams.
- Overseeing budgets and reallocations.
- Audience insights using available tools and resource.
- Ensuring campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs.
- Support Director in devising campaign-strategy documents and plans.
- Consistently look at the long-term strategy and suggest growth areas.
- Contribute to cross agency workstreams, including new business pitches and marketing.
- Responsible for development of careers of Executive on the team.
What you'll bring:
- Digital media experience (agency experience preferred).
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders e.g. suppliers, clients, and internal specialist resources.
- In depth understanding of digital strategy and how it’s devised and executed.
- Depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands, and consumers.
- Highly numerate, very comfortable with data analysis with an eye for detail to identify client trends and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Self- starter, committed to achieving results.
- Understanding of tracking and measurement, including Mobile Measurement Partners and Ad-servers.
- Experience of using planning tools and analysing audience insight.
- Attention to detail is essential – we trust you, so you need to hold yourself accountable.
- Agility and flexibility are important to demonstrate the ability to solve problems as they arise.
